Computer Game Development
This qualification provides learners with a good insight into the skills and knowledge they require, not only for working in computer games development, but generic, transferable skills that all employers would welcome, such as reflective practice, self assessment, target setting, receiving and giving feedback and presentation skills.
The qualification consists of 5 mandatory units:
- Computer game design
- Computer game art production
- Computer game production
- Computer game digital sound production
- Computer game testing
Pupils can choose additional subjects including Computer Game Development for an extra $520 per subject per year. This fee can either be paid in full or split across the three school terms.
